Portrait of a girl
Reply

Tried to capture her beauty, here she is!

(by the way, her neck is not long and skinny, that's her hair covering her shoulders and her neck making it look different)

That's really good, except for the neck; the neck seems too long and too skinny.

Ya, it's good. It does look a lot better when you visualize the neck behind the hair. Her right eye (on the left side) seems off a bit though. I think the eyelid is open too much. I'm just nitpicky though. Good job overall.

Ah! Very good job! I like her nose. And her teeth. I'm just weird like that, though.

You don't understand. That's not all her neck. Her shoulders are slanted like this: \

If you actually check it, the neck is fine. Compare the length of her neck to her face. Then, do the same with yourself.

Nope. The distance from my collar bone to my jaw is about the same as the distance from th bottom of my jaw to the top of my lips. The girl's neck in the picture is from the bottom of her jaw to her cheek bones.

I actually took it from a picture, I'll post the picture if you want, you'll notice it is VERY similar, even the hair.

People can look very wierd, that is true. So, in a case like this, it may of been a good idea to modify the hair, and make it lay around differently so it doesn't confuse like this.
