Because there is.

Maybe tonight we'll fly so far away... We'll be lost before the dawn...

Because the servers are overwhelmed by botters as they always are lately.

botting is not what lags the realms. when ipb and mephbot were out, before Jedi was big and there was no d2jsp, there were about 30k people on useast at night, with no lines. a bot doesnt do anything out of the ordinary. ever see the realms lag with 100k+ people on? not really, and they're all doing normal stuff. the lines are most likely from dupe methods. i.e. gold drop, creates massive amounts of lag. the old matrix method. The Malah method, even though it only worked for a few weeks i believe. the lag is from people constantly sending packets that the game and server isnt meant to handle.

im afraid Shpook is correct, it is more of a packet problem then botting... from previous semi/public dupe methods, the realms have allways lagged to shit...

WHOA, nice sig Cronic well, i dunno, it seems blizz found a way to stop botters(for now) and the lines are gone. I'm thinking they just might of found a way to prioritize packets better and optimize the server better.

I KNEW they had a hardware failure. Remember when the realm just went down out of nowhere, with no warning? HA! I knew I was right! We'll get you yet, Bnet....

i have to agree because a bot does nothing that a normal person dosent do. other than possible create alot more games which could be causing some of the line problems
Think not disdainfully of death, but look on it with favor; for even death is one of the things that Nature wills.
