There's nothing addictive about marijuana, like !K_A! says. It's the "high" you get when you use it. Keep in mind that the people who are against drugs (eg. teachers, government, etc.) turn something very small into something very big. Like lets say a pothead was sitting on a bench next to a scientific professor who works for the government and the scientist is taking note of the pothead. Now the pothead goes and says "God, a bowl of chronic would be nice right about now, sitting on this boring bench waiting for teh bus". Now the noob professor he's like "OMFG, this guy's ADDICTED to marijuanana." So he goes and makes videos about the scientific facts of marijuana and how they can be so-called "addictive" and sends it to all the junior high schools around the country. That way when they get to high school they are all D.A.R.E. noobs but eventually start smoking and are coke-heads by the time they're 20.

So, yeah. Drugs are bad m'kay.

IMO it's not the drugs that are the problem for the most part, it's the users. Just like guns.

There's nothing wrong with Pot if you're responsible about it. There's nothing wrong with World of Warcraft if you're responsible about it. There's nothing wrong with sex if you're responsible about it.

Anything can be addictive, addictions can ruin lives, that's why people should be more responsible with things they could become addicted to.

Exactly. It's more about the people using than the items being used. However, I think it is safe to agree some things that people do do can have addictive properties within themselves, but we shouldn't let those things be an example for the majority.

Physically addictive things are bad. Psychologically/mentally addictive things CAN be bad, it just depends on the person.

That's my generalization. Always exceptions though.

Nothing is actually addictive in it's own right. The effect it has on you is what is addictive. As KA said before many things are addictive even games. The addiction is the hormones and other shit it releases your body says it wants more of that feeling and your brains says CRACK because it only knows what you know, and that is, that crack gives you that feeling. Same applies to anything that triggers biochemical releases even a damn good game like FF7 or DC2. My body says, "Hmm I liked how I felt when I was playing FF7 I want that feeling again." so my brain in turn goes and convinces me that I can play FF7 to get that feeling back so I do.

I do beileve I mentioned to MJ before that anyone can let their body and mind control them and their actions. The real question is...can you control your body and mind? Even Sun Tzu agrees with me in fact he said that mastering yourself makes you fearless. This is because you know that you can say, "STFU YOU STUPID PIECE OF SHIT BODY!" and not cave in to it's demands.

I agree with K_A. But mental things could be really bad if not treated properly
