Post Chain Lightning Sorc

Just wondering if anyone else has ever made a Chain Lightning sorc before? I made one the other day, and she is actually pretty kick ass! I have Lvl 37 CL and Mastery, and she uses a might 4 X Shael'd Chu! I working on mastering FO now to slow em down, and my Cold Aura merc is getting to the point where he can tank and slow em down even more.

Of course, she isn't a 1337 cowing machine, but she definitely holds her own, and she is a lot of fun to play too! She my new little experiment of the month. Next I'm thinking of Elemental Druid with some of those updated SKills they just got (or at least will get with the patch).

What do you think? What other fun ass builds can you think of?

Actually, I might do an ALL Fire Tree Sorc next. Inferno, Blaze, Mastery, and Hydra maybe, just in case those are way too weak. Ideas?

Try to make a melee sorc. Or a throwing necro. There's endless possibilities.

I actually made a CB sorc before, and on HC that lasted until 83.

I want to actually make something that can be a pretty effective killing machine though too. I knew CL could be good, which is why I tried it. I doubt a Throwing Necro could clear any packs of anything. Its no fun sitting there trying to break down a cement wall with a tennis ball, if you know what I mean...

Elemental druild and CB, Charge lighing sorc are kinda old idea but they still fun. Since now nice gear are cheap, you almost can try anything, sword zon, bow pally, or even staff Barb lol. Try bow pally, I saw someone had him and it rock. with bug bow or wf, with fanta.

Actually a melee sorc can do some damage, even in (legit) duels.

Yeah, well I know CL is an old idea, but I haven't seen one in a cow game in a few months. They are just underused IMO.

Is that the Aura Holy Shock, or something along those lines?

Back in the skill hack days I had a friend that pumped that sucker so high that he could just run through the cow levels with a shit load of 5% FRW charms in like 30 seconds and clear it out. I leveled about 3 accounts to 99 doing that.

Make a thorn paladin with lots of defence and life. Those are fun.

That won't work well...unless the paladin has killing power beside using thorn.

High defence, enemies can't hit you.
Thorn returns damage only if a hit lands.

iceman887, I have had 2 shockadins. The accounts got banned though...

It was fun to play with them, not too effective in Hell cows. But you shouldn't be building them for cows.

I wasn't suggesting that he just stand there and wait for the cows to get killed by thorn, I was suggesting that if he had that, plus another means of offence, in the low chance that he did get hit, he most likely wouldn't die(vitality) and it would hurt the cow(s.)

How effective would a pally be if he doesn't have an offensive aura to boost?

I once tried a Thorn + Conversion pally though. It's very effective, as I had really Vita.

Spearazons are still viable, with enough DR and dodge etc.

All I said was, they're still viable with the right build.
Didn't refer to your post or anything.

...Stop making these kind of posts... O.O

Back to topic.
Other "fun ass build"...
Trapsins, Minion Necro (Zoo keeper, Overlord), Ele Druid, Bow pally, WarCry Baba, Pure thrower (baba), Pally thrower...
