iPod touch 8 GB

Does anybody have any experience with this product? I've read quite a few reviews and so far none of them have been negative. Sure, there are going to be some slight problems but nothing major that I've read up on.

I can get it for $200, unopened, still in the box from somebody here at work (which is a great deal because the cheapest listing I've seen online is $250).

Is this a good deal?

me and tutti went to the ipod store and the guy who was there let us play with his. it was good fun but i failed to see the point in it. you want music by a regular ipod, you want video and internet and all that jazz, get a good phone. i dont understand the point in the touch other then you get to touch it.

cheapest ive seen is around 500 i think, i havent checked ina while so it could of gone down.

I really don't care that it's "touch" - I've never owned an iPod before and I don't have an mp3 player right now. My phone also doesn't get internet so I think this would be a good purchase for me.

think of how often you've needed to get online on the go. and if you are just looking for an mp3 player just get your basic ipod - you will still be cooler then me sence ive only ever held the damn thing. i just cant justify paying so much for something you already have.

If you're in the market for a new mp3 player you should check out the new Creative ZEN x-fi. The sound quality is supposed to be unrivaled ATM. Thinking about getting one myself.

One of my friends has an 8GB iPod Touch, and it's pretty amazing. We were watching random youtube videos in the woods while they were getting blazed. It takes a few minutes to get accustomed as to how it works, but I'm pretty sure it's the next gizmo I'm going to buy.

That's true. I'm on a college campus, and their wi-fi is pretty extensive.

Well I ended up buying it. They got internet access in the fuckin' woods? I'm downtown Indianapolis right now and it says I'm connected to a server, but Internet pages won't load. The only time I've managed to connect to Internet on this thing is at my house. I'm thinking free, public Wi-Fi's don't work as well as secured connections.

I think I'm doing something wrong... this thing takes a minute to get used to.
