WWI Splash Image Teasers

So Blizzard has been doing the whole "new splash screen every day" thing they did before releasing starcraft. They seem to be intentionally embedding clues in them this time, however.

That explains it all pretty well. Also, they make the point that Blizzard has done this in the past, but only before game announcements.

Great find K_A, I just wish that the server wasn't down at the moment so I could get a better look at those Splash images.

Bah, yeah, they took it down for a bit. There are other sites doing similar things, so I'll link to one of them below.

This one actually has a bit more than the first one I linked too. There's some pretty convincing shit in there.

It doesn't really have more information if you read more of the posts. Plus diabloii.net is doing some screwy things with their forums so when you click the info tab it doesn't work, at least with me.

So tired of being disappointed by Blizzard, not getting my hopes up this time. It'll probably be a Lost Vikings RTS or something.

So pretty much all of the evidence that was pointing to Diablo yesterday is now pointing to nothing. Back to being in the dark!
