Infinite money

Posted 2002-01-20, 07:01 PM
Well, it's not exactly infinite money, but here's what you do:

Lets assume taht you're running a democratic civ, but you can't satisfy your needs enough (happiness and science), so what you do is simply to set the sliders to exactly what would be perfect for you.

For instance, set the sliders to 70% science and 30% happiness. The first question you'd have is: "Wouldn't I lose like 700 gold per turn?".
Sure you would. The thing is, once you hit 0 gold, you can't go any lower. What are the consequences of this? N-O-T-H-I-N-G! You're just broke! In short, you can have the ideal moral and technology rate as long as you constantly have 0 gold. Trust me, having a happy civ and getting a tech every 4 turns is dreamy.

Probably Civ III. You know, if you'd stop bringing up really old threads, it wouldn't matter that we dump old game forums in here.
