i know how to do that, but when im away... i want to log my buddies events. like when they got on, and off. and auto-logg the convos.

edit: one reason is, i get messages when im away but my power flickers and i lose them

i tried trillian before, i dunno... didn't care for it too much. i just like simple AIM, i guess im going to just have to download these and try em out

I know trillian has already been mentioned, and you don't want to use a seperate program altogether, but gaim is another great alternative.
