What did you uprade from? I went from AthlonXP2600 to Athlon643500, From Geforce 5900xt to Geforce 6800GT.

Wow, 512MB ram and a Geforce 6600 (non-GT)? We're talking some serious hardware here.

I upgraded from a AMD Athlon 1ghz, 512 ram, with a GeForce 4 ti6400 that I built myself about four years ago (and upgraded a couple small things here and there). So I consider this a pretty large step-up.

What motherboard? Ram? Case?

Interesting. I recently got a computer as well, but it got submerged in a flood.
