Alpha Centauri is still my favourite out of the series; nothing beats drilling a giant crater in the middle of your opponent's continents, engulfing several cities. My favourite strategy, to attack your opponent, sign a treaty once he/she gets too close with the defensive forces, and then start attacking again once the troops are pulled back seems to work great.
A few events cracked me up though:
And of course:
So, feel free to share your Civilization memories. If you've never played ANY of the games, go lock yourself up in a closet and starve yourself to death or something.

I should dig up my Civilization II game. It was so much fun, one time I was friends with the Egyptians, the 2nd strongest in the world besides me, they went to war and I kicked their asses. Fags, lol. I recently got Civilization III for my brother last Christmas, that is tons of fun too. Except makes it hard to expand...
I bought Civ III -- actually, my sister bought Civ III a while ago. She hasn't touched it yet. I installed it, and tried to play it, decided it was too complex and put it away. Maybe I'll give it another try.
