The Giants are too beat up. Their schedule is too hard, and too many injuries are killing them. If they make the playoffs (And the NFC is WIDE open), who knows how far they'll go?

The Colts have a legit shot to go undefeated this year. The biggest threat is Jacksonville because it's in Jacksonville and they are a physical team that might give the Colts a run for their money, especially since the Colts are the worst Rushing defense in the game and Maurice Jones-Drew coming into his own and taking some load off Fred Taylor which is keeping him healthy means it could be a battle in the trenches.

The only other real threat is the Colts resting players like last year before the playoffs, which I think is a terrible idea because the Colts are always way out of synch by then and blow it in the playoffs.

I have a feeling Dungy will realize that resting the starters was a horrible idea and keep 'em in this year. Well, we already beat Jacksonville once this season, don't see why we can't do it again.

You only play 1 game a week.

Football season started September 7th and ends at the Superbowl on February 4th. They only play 16 games in the regular season.

Keeps it short and sweet, I suppose.

I'm used to seasons lasting from the end of August until May/June ish, with at least two games a week and somewhere in the region of 40 games in total.
