No no, portable power can work for the internet, computer screens are strangely illuminating, and water is pressurised in water towers, not at the house.

We have a well at my house, so power is required for running water here. And yah, a computer screen is like giant flashlight. And while it's possible to do things without electricity, it certainly makes things easier and more convienent.

Okay, so I'll have water Friday. Still no word on the electric. :-\

I probably won't hook up the cable and internet until Monday. It's just something else I won't have time for Friday.
