Oppenheimer eh?
But not einstein? His ideas did pave the way for the bomb. Or did you state him in an earlier post?

Havn't thought about him. And why Gandhi?

Einstein's biggest involvement with the bomb was convincing Roosevelt that the Germans were working on nuclear weaponry and we needed to beat them to the punch. That was his only direct involvement with the Manhatten Project. I've always had a pedestrian interest in the development of nuclear weaponry, and Oppenheimer was at the head of it all.

I didn't list Einstein simply because I didn't feel like being redundant.

Gandhi, because he's one of the most insipirational figures in human history. I suppose I'd also add Desmond Tutu to the list, now that I think about it.

I've seen a bunch of his TV interviews, and he just strikes me as being one of the kindest, most optimistic people on the planet.

I dont think Hitler, was a military genius, a genius would have figured out how to win against any odds... Ender Wiggin is a military genius. However Hitler was an astounding speaker, if you watch any old videos of him giving a speach in front of his army, he could rally even the most miserable of troops.

The man was a genius with words. Like SYG said, he could get anyone to follow him. I mean... He got almost a whole country to believe they were a superior race.

I don't know, he could have been a military genious, they say one of the only reason he lost was cause he started making bad decisions and mistakes due to his gradual decline in health and sanity, mainly due to the speed, although he was taking the speed for some disease, (which one I forget) so that could have ended it in the long run anyways. Napolean was a military genious and he lost eventually. I doubt he could have won against ANY odds, considering half the world was fighting him. Thats just illogical.

Hitler locked himself in his bunker and lived under the illusion that he was winning...that helped him lose...he thought he was winning...so used tactics winners would use...etc...

Napolean had something wrong with him that meant he went to sleep randomly...I can't remember what it's called...he often fell asleep during battles...and so couldn't order retreats etc...

If you want a military genius...look at Alexander the great. THERE is your military genius.

If you don't want to...then just look at the famous figures in historical periods - the Egyptians, Greeks, Romans etc...

Dead or alive, who would it be?

I'd want to meet Albert Einstein, he was quite a character and a genius at that.

Why would you meet albert einstein when i'm on this world today?

I would most likely meet jenna jameson or Emma Watson, like i said.
