I disagree. I think the game is decent. You do get brutally murdered if you attempt quests with only 2 in your party. I only got to play for a few hours last night. After the first death we decided to pickup more people for the mission. We maxed the group at 6 players. This group consisted of 2 warriors, 2 monks, 1 ranger, and 1 elementalist. We did pretty well and nobody died at all (no rezÂ’s needed). I think I am going to reroll though, I went Warrior/Ranger but I should have gone Warrior/Monk. I will try again tonight.

Yea I like the game too. With my Monk/Mesmer I have completed all the cooperative missions already and am now hooked on the pvp missions. Tonight I was in a pretty good group and we got to the last duel before you can enter the hall of (forgot what it was :s). but we lost it .

Combat may not be the fastest there is in an RPG but it's definetly not slow, especially vs good people you wont be wishing it was faster than it is now.

Loading times are also constant now at around 50-100kb/s which causes it to take only a couple of seconds.

Meh. It was alright, but nothing in comparison to WoW. Maybe if I played this first, I would've thought better of it.

You are just too 1337 for this game.

WoW Stress test was alot more fun than this game though. I would be playing WoW if I could but this will have to do for now. By the way, Warrior/Monk is way better than Warrior/Ranger. One more thing, team hires are pretty sweet.

Seriously, Guild wars has nothing on wow. I dont like the idea of playing in teams. I like playing alone sometimes. With guild wars, thats not possible.

Guild Wars has one-time-pricing over WoW, IIRC.

I'd rather PTP for an awesome game than pay once for a game that I might play for a short while.

Also, the game was full of battle.net kiddies already. I'm hoping WoW won't be quite as bad, but it's likely a futile hope.

I havent seen any bnet kiddies while playing, everyone was great.

It could be because of the times I played though, most young Americans (sadly most of the time they are the ones to blame ) are usually asleep or not playing yet when I'm playing, due to time differences.

Sovereign is right, guild wars focusses on team play. You can go solo, but it is hard to do and usually requires you to hire a merchant to be able to somewhat survive, so your still not completely alone. However if you like teamplay then this is awesome, especially if you have played in a good team where everyone is cooperating. it's great!

As of now I really I will be buying this game once it comes out. I havent tried WoW yet, other than that hacked one (just walking around was pretty funny ), maybe that could change my mind about stuff, we will see.

In the first 5 minutes of playing, I had already seen a Legolasz, Berginyon Baenre, and Gimli. They were all typing like bnet kiddies as well.

I did not find a Drizzt DoUrden while playing, but I'm sure there are at least 5 out there.

I agree whole-heartedly. I had a great time playing with 3-4 of my friends. When they eventually logged and I was on my own I started playing in the PvP tournaments. That was fun as hell. It's cool that you can level PvP the exp was pretty good too. I ended up spending most of my time there and ended up going from lvl17 to 19 purely PvP. I want to play Guild Wars more than any other game I have at the moment but shit the intro is now over. My opinion has not changed about WoW though. I think most of the fun I had with Guild Wars could be easily accomplished with WoW. I just want to play even more now because I had so much fun with Guild Wars, I know I will get a similar feeling with WoW.

Hurry up Blizzard.
