If you had really been paying attention, you'd know that Grav doesn't require a title to think himself better than 80% of the people arround him. This is probably true for a majority of people (though their opinion is not necessarily reality), Grav is just vocal about it.
And as far as I'm concerned, probably right. 80% is probably an understatement.
