Just finished installing my new radiator an hour ago, seems to be fine. The new radiator is all metal, and has a lifetime warranty, so that shouldn't be giving me any more problems.
Hell if you can't find a bike you could go with an old hatchback honda for about 500. It will get you from point A to point B

My back speakers (6x9 3-way Audiobahns), my CDs...
Whoever it was must've gotten scared off, as one of my front speakers was half-removed and my stereo hanging by the wires with a few cut. My back seat is now partially ripped open as well.
My door was wide open with my tools on top of my car this morning.
God damn, I hope June goes better than May has. If not, I may go jump off a building or some shit.
Volls, this is why I've sworn off cars. Public transit and a bike is the way to go. You've already got the girlfriend, so who are you trying to impress? Buy a good BMX (unless you're one of them "mountain bike" queers), become familiar with the city bus/train system and watch your insurance/repair/fuel issues float effortlessly out the window.
I'm a mountain bike queer... Although I got other bikes too, I like my mountain bike best.
I dont know how public transportation is in the US, but here it's a nightmare. Busses and trains are late alot, and alot of the times when they do get on time, they're loaded. Especially now in the summer this is horrible, since everyone is sweating and all that.

Problem is Raz, it would take me about 3 hours or so to get to my workplace.
Believe me, I'm not impressing ANYONE with my car, working or not.
Take the bus, bro. I'm not sure what the system is like where you live, but I know it's pretty decent in Seattle, and the train system in Salt Lake is great.
Buses are always late, trains are either late, don't turn up or are cancelled and taxis are too expensive...when the trains don't turn up or are cancelled then they have a bus srvice instead...crazy...
How come America has such a good public transport system?? I always think of you lot as driving your own car rather than using the Bus...and for such a big country, I'm surprised you've got the money...look how small we are and look at our public transport, and the roads around where I live are terrible!!
You live in England, coprrect? Then the difference between mass-transit systems in both countries would be the fact that Britain's train/bus systems are equivalent to five or six of the individual state and city systems in our country. For all I know, LA's bus system could be worse than yours, but I'd bet money that Salt Lake's train system is more reliable than anything you can find in England.
