Honest Opinions of Admins/Mods

Its not that your not trusted Titus. Just i dont see the point of so many admins and such. I mean lets be serious and i'll use you as an example. What have you done to the site right now that you couldnt have done as a Sen Mod? You can open/close Copy/Move any thread you like as a Sen Mod, and you still have the power to ban members. So unless your doing site improvments such as, coding, desgining, or ading features/hacks. Then there really isnt the need for so many Admins. Dont take this the wrong way now Im not trying to soundl like a dick or anything, but im sure you can understand my point. Its obvious that your not going to do any of that for 2 simple reasons.

Okay, Kuja, it wasn't as simple as Titus left Zelaron then got the admin position. If you don't know what you are talking about, simply don't talk. You didn't see what went on during the time that me and Titus left.

Titus wrote a long PM to WW about improvements he would like to see. WW talked to Chruser about it(I believe) and they both agreed that Titus would be good for an admin position. Titus didn't ask for the position, they offered it. I agree with their choice.

While we're on the subject, to the people who think I got my position just because I'm titus's friend, that's complete BS. The person who was modding the off topic section before me wasn't nearly as active enough as someone who mods the off topic section should be(Wiccan.) I'm one of the most active mods here, and the job was perfect for me. At the time the off topic section was getting out of hand and needed someone to be watching it almost all the time. Titus suggested to Chruser and WW that I should be modded, they both agreed it would be a good idea, so Titus made a thread in the ad-mod forum asking what the staff thought about it. I don't exactly remember who was against it, but there weren't many people.

You know what, LiveWire, you can cram it up your ass. People have been doing their damnedest to bring originality and new material to this forum, and people like you don't do shit to help it along.

Example: Zelaron Melee. This is a brand new feature on this forum. It's designed to stimulate conversation and debate, and it is nearly barren of activity aside from my constant updates. On top of that, people have been brainstorming ways to increase activity in the Starcraft Forum, Titus has been refining the way the entire forum functions constantly and there has been a lot of other activity that either you simply don't see or refuse to see.

What do you expect from this place? Do you want us solving murder mysteries and fighting terrorism? Do you want us constructing a giant nuclear-powered octopus to take over manhattan? This is a fucking online forum. If you want something revolutionay and exciting, move to Saturn.

Hmmm, well I think the best answer to all this is. One get rid of the starcraft forum. Its pointless and it's not a very active game anymore. Everquest! Well, theirs a game that seems to be dominating the gaming industry. I think if we get enough content on the forum it should be very active. I mean the game is played and sold more then Diablo 1 2 and LOD combined

Like Reviews, screenshots of new games, free demos, articles, online zelaron subscriber, have monthly contest and give out free yearly subscriptions to game magazines to the winner. Ect... There's so much that this site can do, with just a little bit of money, and effort. Thats what i expect from this place.

Before i spend ANY more time writing here, i want to know. Will ANYONE from the admin and mod read this and take anything seriously. Be honest staff of zel, don thave people waste there time writing shit if your not even gonna read it or look into it.

Being admin is more of a trust issue then anything else. Being the best coder in the world, wont get you an admin job if you arnt trusted. But someone who cant code, can get an admin job if they are trusted. If the 'shit hits the fan' in any number of ways, the admin who gets on first solves it. If theres 4 admins, they have 4 times the chance of catching it earlier then 1 admin does. Not to mention admins are the ones who will dish out their real life money and time to the site or whatever. Generally admins are the ones that actully care about the project/site/forum and they care about the community and they understand it and want it to prosper. Chruser knows I care for zel, I wouldent be admin if I diddnt. Although I am a bit inactive lately, I am waiting for a project or something coming up, maybe something to do with building the site more or the portal or something. There is still work going on behind the scenes to improve zelaron that most of you have no idea about. Everything from themes, bug fixing, feature additions, php coding, designs, researching and so on. A lot of the smaller things admins do are unnoticed, maybe wetwired makes a small code change in the theme, or titus updates a rules thread to change some words around or something.

Also I dont think anyone has a right to complain unless they are helping the community. Just by being here and posting dosent give you an excuse to complain, unless your working, making threads that help new members, or doing something usefull, then you need to shutup. People shouldent bitch about stuff not being done when they are not willing to help themselvs. If you were smart and cared about zelaron, and you really thought more needed to be done, youd do it the smart way, and apply for a mod spot and do all you can to help. Sorta IMPOSSIBLE to do when the god damn admin wont listen to your ideas because they are contradicting what they THINK is right. I have a few ideas that will get this forum up and runnign better. WIll they ever be listened to? NO. WIll they even be considered? probably not. Nobody would give me a chance either. The whole god damn admin hates me anyways -_-.

Give me a chance at the chat forum, ull see things would be better if my ideas where considered.

Hate isent random. You must have done something in the past or said something in the past, or maybe your attitude sucks. Either way, everyone who comes to zelaron starts with a clean slate, what you do with that slate is up to you.

Im doing the right thing. By pointing that he is doing thing wrong. Why would i want to be a mod when i beleive there is already way to much of mod and admin ? How would it actualy make thing better if i try to be a mod ? Only thing it will do is make me go against what i beleive. I will deff. not do that.

Actually most of the staff (Or all of the staff) agree that K_A should be modded again, because he is a very active member and he will get the Off-topic Section.

So what is wrong with Flame forum having 3 mods? Do they mess things up? Do they make any mistake? But the reason why Flame, Lit, and Web design has 3 mods is because Robotic S. and !K_A! are moderators of the entire Off-topic section.

If you use Ocean style, you won't see Mantra and Raziel's name on the Off-topic because it doesn't expand. I don't see a huge problem with that.
