The girl in the video had her boyfriend bracing her shoulder for her, and it still kicked the shit out of her shoulder. If he hadn't been doing that, she probably would have fallen flat on her ass, or broken/dislocated her shoulder.

However, the girl in the e-mail didn't have anyone bracing her shoulder, and she was most likely terrified to death.
