Ya I don't have any doubt you could. I've been thinking about joining the Navy alot, I'm sure I could score pretty high on the asvab(?) I just don't know if I could go 4 years w/ someone controlling me. What is the experience like? How much do you make?

Oh god no, dont go to the Gayvy! If your smart the ASVAB is easy.. duh..

My experience in the Army has been great. Of course bootcamp is hard, its supposed to or you wouldnt be a tough guy when you got out, youd be a loser. Then you goto Advanced Individual Training (AIT) thats where you learn your job, you still have drill seargents in AIT but they aint as tuff. After AIT you goto your first duty station, thats where the fun is. Im stationed in germany right now, and if you wanted to you could stay out all night everynight as long as your back before morning formation alot of the times people be coming in at 6 in the morning in there civilian clothes and barely got 30 mins to change and stuff before PT (physical training). My roomate does it regularly lol. Your allowed to have all the stuff you want in your room too, I got 2 tv's and xbox and a ps2 with internet for both, and a couch and a full size fridge in my room. Yea army life is sweet dude.

edit: yea its not 4 years with someone controlling you, its like only basic and the beggining of AIT, at your duty stations its like a normal 9 to 5 job - after work your off for good.

Wow. See that's what my dad told me it was kinda like, but you can't trust him, he'd want me to join just so I could get shot. Pyscho. Sounds like you really enjoy it, can you choose where you want your duty station? Or is it not a first time thing?

Yea you can choose, but you HAVE TO TELL THEM they wont ask lol, alot of my buddies in basic were dumbasses and let the army choose where to send them, I choose Germany and got Germany so Im happy. Also ask for a bonus you can get like 10k+ for certain jobs.

Hmmm... So tell what you've heard about the Navy that makes them suck. The navy told me that The Airforce is almost non-existant as a military branch. The Army not as many people join for fear of being sent to Iraq.

Going where in November? I'm a coward so that works out good, but do gay guys seriously join the Navy? Thats wack! Ya that could be kinda sucky stuck on a sub or boat, taking crapy showers, sleeping in crappy quarters. Hmmm... I'm gunna look into the branches more.
