Looks ok. The video card is kind of expensive for a 9600. Does he really need the All In Wonder stuff (T.V. Tuner, VIVO, etc)? You can probably get an old 9700 or 9800 for about the same price. Also, does he already have a case cause I don't see any on your list. Everything else looks cool though. It is an admirable of you to pay for windows. I am ashamed of myself for downloading Windows XP Pro from suprnova.org.

I paid $200 for XPHome retail, and he gets XPPRO for $150 with hardware, that sucks...
