You send a bunch of asshats to meet their beloved allah.

Id say go for it. Use small nuclear wepons in tacticle strikes.

Anywhere that is bombed will be radioactive for the next few thousand years. It will do one of a few things. It will kill any of those sand treading animals that are within the immediate area from either radiation posioning, a slow and painful death, or from the actual blast.

The US wont nuke a heavily populated civialian area. So "hundreds or thousands of civilian deaths" more then likely will not occur. If a few people, or even a few hundred die, tough shit. This is war. This isnt some daisy swapping convention. There will be death. There will be casualties everywhere. It is unfourtunate. Oh well.

The mass killings of these terrorists will acomplish a few things. Any not so strong willed assholes will more then likely quit, or turn themselves in or whatever. I dont know what their stance on surrender is. If not, then our troops will just have a lot less gunfire to worry about.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

I would still like to know on what basis we have the right to attack other countries because they believe differently than we do. And on top of it, I would like to know exactly what number of Saddam's own people were gassed at his hands. I've searched for a while, but I can't find anything.

.....

You know damn well i am talking about current day.... In the time of Hiroshima, the us was the ONLY country with nuclear capabilities. Noone would dare hit the US back. Now, there are at least 8 countries with with Nuclear capabilities. The united states wont start nuking innocent civilians because it will piss those other countries off. Piss them off enough, and bam. Hello armageddon. Its like saying "OH, brittain had a queen that decapitated people for no reason, just because she ddint like them, so the current queen of england will do the same. They did it once, so they will do it again". NOpe, try again.

Saddam killed tens of thousands of Kurds, but not to the levels of Stalin and Hitler, to be sure.

That is pretty recent, historically. Either way, human nature doesn't change. If Bush get pissed off enough, it can happen. And don't tell me you don't know what the reprecussions of a nuclear holocaust would mean. Nuclear war is unacceptable, in any case.

Nuclear War=The end of the world. I know this may seem like a joke, but if we do fire a nuke or 10 I am betting we have 10 times as many coming back. Nuclear radiation=global warming=icecaps melting=us dying in huge flood.
