You see how now you put into your post that you are talking about average damage since I made you look like a fool. You said that lowering max damage wouldn't make the spells do less damage and that is just you begging to be called a moron. Trust me most of the people here would love to say how wrong I am because they hate me but they are being silent now because in this case I am right and you are a moron. my interpretation of your post has nothing to do with the wonders of math.
