choosing name and having NPCs say it throughout the game

I'm having the player fill out a form. It asks for his name, his wife's name, his best friends name and his dog's name. Is there a way to make it so that I can have those names that have been typed in by the user show up in a message? Is it a different form of "\n[1]"?
