YOUR Video Game Awards

The thread right below this one gave me the idea for this.

Nominate your personal selections for the best games of the year. I want this to be a bit different than other "Best of the Year" awards, though. Don't limit your selections to things released this year. What are the best games you played this year? It could be something released in 1997, and if this year was the first time you played it, list it.

Game of the Year

Console Game of the Year

Handheld Game of the Year

PC Game of the Year

Action Game of the Year

Adventure Game of the Year

RPG of the Year

Racing Game of the Year

Sports Game of the Year

Multiplayer Game of the Year

Character of the Year

Developer of the Year

Best Graphics

Best Music/Sound

Best Gameplay

Best Story

Best Voice-Acting Performance

Best Game Nobody Played

Worst Game of the Year

Don't go nominating something you either haven't played or haven't actually tested in person. In other words, don't go nominating Metroid prime 2 or Metal Gear Solid 3 if your haven't played them. Reading a review and deciding that it's the game of the year based on that is lame.
