Problems of Play Station 2

Does any body else have a ps2 that has broken and cant read the disc? That makes me mad!. I heard that there in a law suite right know but chances are they will win cause they have so much money and stuff. It costs $100 to fix one where I am
(US, Ohio) Just wanted to tell you guys. Some games still work for me like tony hawk 3 and jak and daxter. GTA3 doessnt work anlong with metal gear solid.
