Fantasy Trades

Alright, I'm having a mental battle right now. I have Peyton Manning, whom I "wasted" a 7th overall pick on. Now, I also have Brett Favre. As of right now, he is the 3rd best QB in fantasy, and I'm no fool because I know half those points literally came this week. Granted, his point totals, without this week, are still almost doubled Peyton's this season.

Now, I'm thinking that with the Bye week, Peyton is getting healthier, and more in-sync with his offense, and hopefully his offensive line is getting healthier too.

So, with that said, should I try to trade Favre (especially with his stock soaring right now) for a top tier WR like Brandon Marshall and hope Peyton will suffice??

Absolutely. I think this bye week will yield great opportunities for Peyton and his receivers to produce larger fantasy points. Favre isn't going to throw 6 TDs ever again, don't expect those numbers to continue.

First you have to find a team with a low QB (for instance a Tom Brady, DMcNabb, Carson Palmer, etc) to trade with. From there, you then can select a WR, but im not thinking a top teir one, maybe somebody like Ward, Royal, Jackson, etc. who go under the radar. Those are the guys who are consistent and are guys that are usually traded. Get rid of Farve cause Peyton will be stellar from here on out, and you can count on that.

On another note, your philly's need a win this weekend or they could be looking at 4th place in the strongest divison in the NFL.
