Was I the only one in America utterly disappointed with the blatant commercialism and unnecessary "patriotism" of the Super Bowl?

Actually, I thought the halftime show was quite a bit better than the last one. I seriously liked it. It was simple, but good.

I didn't watch too much of the halftime show, no bands that I like ever get to play. This would be because I like Power Metal, bands like Blind Guardian, Rhapsody, Symphony X and I also enjoy techno. I can not stand any of that hip hop crap and etc.
