Oh god no, dont go to the Gayvy! If your smart the ASVAB is easy.. duh..
My experience in the Army has been great. Of course bootcamp is hard, its supposed to or you wouldnt be a tough guy when you got out, youd be a loser. Then you goto Advanced Individual Training (AIT) thats where you learn your job, you still have drill seargents in AIT but they aint as tuff. After AIT you goto your first duty station, thats where the fun is. Im stationed in germany right now, and if you wanted to you could stay out all night everynight as long as your back before morning formation alot of the times people be coming in at 6 in the morning in there civilian clothes and barely got 30 mins to change and stuff before PT (physical training). My roomate does it regularly lol. Your allowed to have all the stuff you want in your room too, I got 2 tv's and xbox and a ps2 with internet for both, and a couch and a full size fridge in my room. Yea army life is sweet dude.
edit: yea its not 4 years with someone controlling you, its like only basic and the beggining of AIT, at your duty stations its like a normal 9 to 5 job - after work your off for good.
