Did you know...

Amazing to me...

What three letters of the English language would you think are the least common? I would assume are Q, X, and Z.

Check out
www.a.com
www.b.com
www.c.com
etc...

There are only three that are registered... Guess what they are...

Also, the url for this website sounds kinda lyrical:
www.wwwdotwww.com

I get bored at work...

Ugh, I'm not going to look up which one's are registered. Just tell us.

My guess would be Q, W, Z, or X, since they are located on the keyboard in locations that would signify they are least commonly used.

Fuck it, I went through it.

It is Q, X, and Z. They all went to some other website. Q went to Qwest.com, X went to Paypal I think, and Z went to a Nissan 350Z site. Weird.

I would fucking assume you are making a guess and you are assuming those would be the letters. By no means was your opening post one that is a factual statement.

I win.

If it weren't an interesting observation, and there was something that I found odd about it, why would I have made a thread about it? I assumed nothing, and I thought it was obvious. I stated "There are only three that are registered..." Thus, I had tried them all.

Don't assume, because you make an ass out of u, and then you have an m and an e left over.

My avatar? It's been that since we started VB3.

I can understand where Titus is coming from because I thought we were supposed to search, as well. I don't really think you specified clearly enough.

IIRC, there is extra red tape to register a domain consisting of less than three letters, which explains why there are so few 1 letter domains and why they are all registered to large companies.

If you had a one letter domain, any one letter domain, it would be worth millions on the open market. =/

For one, short domain names are popular for site hosting businesses, and for two, they are hard to get.
