Marjiuana kills 0 people a year. Does that count for people who were driving under the influence and got in a wreck and died? Or who killed someone while driving? Or do those things just not happen? What if while having your judgement inhibited you decided it would be cool to jump off a cliff into the lake, but it turns out there was a dry spell and most of the water was gone. Jump...weee...splat...dead. Does that count? I'm all for legalizing M.J. but that seems hard to believe.

You do bring a point, but the thing is half of your post especaially the stupid cliff comment is even more incorrect than NORML's advertising.
As a matter of fact I am 100% positive that there are indirect deaths from Marijuana, but eitherway there is no Direct health hazard connected to pot. Unlike alcahol and tobacco, habitual use of tobacco can lead to numerous health issues, one major one being lung cancer, not to mention the horrible nicotine addiction. Alcahol can lead to sirocis of the liver, depression, and violence, and numerous other problems.
Marijuana use affects people in many different ways, it can lead to extensive creativity, and awareness, and tons of junk food. I know from experiance. Let me put it this way, I notice 50% more detail in almost everything when high, and I specificly enjoy that.
There are uninformed speculations much like the one you present there, that's all.
Also, the chemicals that smoking marijuana leaves in your body can remain up to and even over a month's time, so just because a person tests positive for use, does not by any means they were under the influence.
I smoke on a regular basis, and I will probobly never, ever stop unless there is a million dollars involved, even then I'd smoke and find a way to fool the million dollar giver.

On top of that, my beliefs are; the legalization should include licensing for the use of it, you would have to apply and show that you will still handle your business while being a smoker.....ect |
