Savage Demo

The promised demo for Savage: The Battle for Newerth is now available, providing the chance to sample S2 Games' multiplayer FPS/RTS hybrid. The 143 MB Windows version can be found on 3D Gamers, Boomtown, FileFront, Filerush, FileShack (registration required), Gamer's Hell, GameSpot (registration required), GameTab, Happy Puppy (registration required), IGN, Loadedinc (registration required), and Worthplaying. The 155 MB Linux version is available from 3D Gamers, FileShack (registration required)), GameTab, Happy Puppy (registration required)), and Worthplaying. Here's the description of the demo: "The demo includes two levels of gameplay and introduces players to the Human Race. Set in a unique fantasy world eons from now, Savage transports PC gamers to the next level in multiplayer gaming. The result is a truly unique gaming experience that enables the player to opt for either the fast-paced, run-and-gun action of a FPS (playing as a Warrior) or the more cerebral and tactical planning of a RTS (playing as a Commander). Because Savage offers fully developed aspects of each genre, players must work together as a team in order to defeat their opposition. The full game includes both the human and beast races."

Pretty damn cool demo!

It's like Natural Selection, but cooler and much more entertaining.

I dunno about natural selection but in savage you can : build, repair, mine, hunt, kill and hit building in each case you gain exp you can get gold of hunting killing and hitting building not to mention it give some gold to your commander when you do that. Level are carried whit you even if you change to another creature or human character tho if you take a unit more expensive it will cost you gold. Also there item you can buy like items for both race and weapon for human ranged mostly. Great game worth playin and buyig when it come out if you have any question feel free to ask me here in pm or check my profile for aim, msn or icq.

*hint* There a way to bypass cdkey check on savage beta

P.S. You can play only unofficial server but still highly worth it !
