OMFG i just completed the Panic test on that website and it JUST FREAKED ME OUT OF MY FLESH. They used to have "Nuclear Drills" way back when (during the cold war, I think). The school would sound an alarm, and all of the students would go under their desks. Voila! Instant protection!

but i fail to see how it's so "freaky"

the real point of the maps is to locate the important military structures/installations/bases thats near you and see if you will surive a nuclear blast if it was targeted. the thing is that even though you might be well away from the fatal radias the radioation would not make the rest of your life a happy one.

Or to locate the nearest nuclear power plant that you need to get the hell away from.
