Exclamation 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT-8

Finally Mopar did something with that SRT 6.1L Hemi that is worth driving. I hope they make it!

Update: The sticker price has been announced at 38k, and then another 2k tax for "gas guzzler" fee. Still amazing vehicles, only one per dealership will be available in 2008, and then full production will be available in 2009. I wish I could afford one as my daily driver <3

Looks like a resto rod that is factory finished. I like it.
Autoweek Concept specs 0-60 4.5, 1/4 mi 13 sec, TS 174mph!

For some reason the rear seems really ugly to me.

Yeah it is, but the whole retro look ties that in pretty nice, I can't wait to see these on the streets....

That entire car just looks great. I'm glad they finally brought the retro look back and they did it right, Ford's attempt with the mustang is kinda lackluster, IMO.

This thread is about a car, which is appropriate because it is in the Automotive forum. 6/10.

The Challenger is beautiful inside and out and I'm glad it made it to production.

I'd have to disagree about the mustang though. It has nice modern retro styling and performance that suits the looks. (especially in the GT)
