Travis Henry (Denver's RB) tests positive for weed

I just think this is incredibly ironic because just a couple of days ago I read an article about how the city of Denver (where weed is practically legal) wants Ricky Williams (outspoken pothead) to come play for them. What they didn't know was that their current running back is also a pothead. Hahahaha. That's plain funny.

But in all seriousness, it sucks for Henry, he's pending a year-long suspension. He's leading the league in rushing at the moment, too.

I don't understand why it's such a big deal. It's not like pot makes you a superhuman or anything. Probably didn't even effect how he plays.

Yeah no shit. It's not like it's a performance enhancing drug or anything like steroids. Why should his personal decision affect his job? I'll never understand it.

I believe i read an article about why they enforce this rule back when Williams was protesting it. The NFL stated that they didn't want children to hear about professionals using drugs, and getting away with it. It allows children to see faults in professionals and see that doing drugs is not the way to be. If i can find the article ill post it.

Will somebody please think of the children?!?!
