How do you think Bush did? I personally think he did awsome.

He had lots of democrats standing and clapping for him even.

Go ahead and pick apart his grammar you liberals.

Most of what he said was fine (although some things I heard him say seemed almost contradictory to what he's doing today), but can he make good on it? The state of the union honestly means nothing to me, unless what he's said is actually carried out. What he said seemed fine for the most part, though.

The State of the Union is almost always just a stream of lies and false plans. The President is supposed to hold these "from time to time" but it's become tradition to do only one and televise it publicly.

I am proud to say that I have never once watched a State of the Union address.

Didn't watch it. No need. I'm sure his speech writers wouldn't have let him say anything like he does when he's not "prepared".

They did a good job. They rehearse this stuff long in advance.

Right now the democrat response is on, and the guy talking (minority leader of the senate) has a really annoying voice. He's got good speech, but he talks like one of those starving children commercial people.

Now the chick is on. She's almost the same. It doesn't seem like they are speaking really, just saying stuff. I can't really explain it, maybe someone else watching it can help me.

I watched part of it. But I'm sure no one wants you to commentate the State of the Union speach, much less help. Plus most of the zelaronians hate Bush.

I wasn't commentating the State of the Union "speach", idiot.

The address was over before I even posted the thread.
