Movies: The Bourne Supremacy

No spoilers are in my thread, just so you all know. If you want to add spoliers once you see the movie, make sure to put a notice of doing so up in the beginning of the post.

All right. I just got back from a sneak peak viewing of The Bourne Supremacy. It was pretty damn good, let me start out by saying that.

This is definitely not the normal cookie cutter sequel that sucked ass. It backed up the first kickassedness with a lot more. I'm not positive, but I think a different Director was used in this one, which was the only downfall, and I will get to that later.

This movie picks up right where it left off. Well, not exactly, but 2 years after it was left off, during which time period nothing movie worthy happened, so they saved you the torment.

The plot thickened, the puzzle was still being placed together, and they made one crucial mistake, not leaving him alone. When Jason Bourne brings it, he brings it hard, fast, and efficiently. Do not fuck with him.

The action was plentiful. The fight scenes, again, were totally kickass, and the car chase scenes were on the level of Ronnin, which in lamens terms means, it was phenominal. The only part of the movie I did not fully enjoy was some of the camera display scenes. Evidently, this Director likes the moving action sequences, which can become quite nausianting, especially with the intensity of fighting and chasing taking place in this movie.

There is supposidly a third one, book wise that is, but I don't know if they started shooting a third movie for it, or if they even will.

Overall: 9.2/10

A must see, by all means, especially with all the let downs thus far.

Well, I thought this movie could have been alot better. Just like you said Titus, in the fight scenes it was quite hard to even tell who is who because the angles change and move so fast. That was the only downfall of the movie, otherwise it was badass, how he did everything etc. But actionless ( in my mind ) I didn't like it that much.

I actually really liked it. When that Russian Secret Service guy killed his girlfriend, I got intensely fired up, because I knew that was the end of anyone even remotely linked to it. If a movie scene can fire me up like that, it has to be pretty damn good.

i dont think i can agree with titus any more. i Just saw this movie the other night. AWESOME...

Spoiler****

the thing that gets me though.... They KNOW and Julia Stiles told them that Bourne DOES NOT make mistakes, so why the hell would someone so smart and efficient leave fingerprints in the most obvious place? a true agent would know that a person like Bourne would not just leave his fingerprints there. Otherwise, i thought it was awesome. Some of my friends got a little dizzy from all the camera moving, but i didnt mind it.
