exp to use weapons?!

one of my friends that just got the game told me that when you start out in planetside, that you have to get alot of exp b4 you can even use a decent weapon. If this is true then that really is sorta gay in my opinion.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

First of all, it's wrong. You can get almost anything at BR1, secondly, even if it did work like that it would be cool.

the only thing 'sorta gay' about ps is that you have to pay to play. otherwise, its the best fps yet, no matter how you start out.

And I beleive if someone comes into the Planet Side forums and says its gay to pay-to-play on servers that costs sony about $50,000 a month to maintain.... then well someone needs a flaming.
