Why not?

I've somewhat brainstormed (not really) an idea that we could throw onto here, maybe give people on the boards more 'personality'.

For starters, you could create an album/folder/whatever to store pictures in, they could be available via the Username link, and just have a subfolder/gallery for the pictures, as well as change up the Biography part of the page to be more personable, allowing to elaborate a bit more on each category, and maybe even change up the color/settings of it, something along those lines.

Basically, i'm really just suggesting adding an album for people to post pictures up on, not as much to turn it into a myspace type area or anything, but just a bit more personable place to host a few pictures, i'm not sure on your bandwidth or space that you have available, so if this is out of the question feel free to shoot it down.

There were plans to have people have their own subdomains. I'm not sure what happened to that plan. As far as I know, I'm the only one who ever got one. I don't even use it for like a webpage or anything, just a file host.

Subdomains would be the bomb-diggity. I like that idea a lot.

Yeah that's the word I was thinking of. So basically it'd be a thing somewhat like Zelaron.com/users/d3v or /king_amazon etc etc. That'd be a good idea IMO. I'd like to see it happen, i'm sure others would as well.

I think it would be more like d3v.zelaron.com. Mine is kinga.zelaron.com

Well that's always the purpose of making changes to this site, atleast in my eyes. I'm sure if we ANY more customization no matter what it may be as soon as word gets out or somebody stumbles upon it it can always help.

Yep, which means that we need to find a way to make either our content or debates interesting enough to make people browsing want to participate.

Well most of the visitors we get through search engines are looking for one thing in specific, like a hack or something, so they come, they get it, they leave. I think advertising of some sort would probably help get and keep members, since then they're actually wanting to come to Zelaron, not wanting to get a hack.
