I have it. It's great!

BTW... there's a new code for Donkey Kong 3..

www.animal-crossing.com

You have to input your game character's name / town. There's a flash banner there that you have to click on a few times.. but you'll find it pretty fast.

I still play it, and I've had it for.. let's see.. 2 months. I usually only play an hour or two a day, though.

Nah, you buy a house, furnish it, talk to the neighbors (all animals), pay off your mortage, go fishing, dig up fossils..

It's like the Sims, I guess, but a lot better. (And there is no Bladder Meter)

Though, you can just chop down all the trees, trap neighbors with Pitfalls, beat them with nets, write them nasty letters, etc. (Though, they are unable to read those letters, it's funny to get a reply like "I loved your letter! Here's some fruit I found.")

Yeah, but it plays in real time.. no "going to sleep at 4:00 PM and waking up at 6:00 AM a few seconds later" stuff. Unless you "adjust" the Game Cube clock.

Yes. Yes there is.

Hold the "A" button when you first start (with the little cube rolling around).

You'll go into a menu thingy. Hit "right" and you can see the current time / date. Press "A" to adjust this time / date.

Animal Crossing lets you do this within the game though, before you load your game off of the memory card..

Just don't screw up and set it to 2003... Your entire village will be overrun with weeds, and you'll get cockroaches in your house.

Yes, it happened to me. I didn't want to wait a day to upgrade my house, so...

"Where have you been? I haven't seen you in.. let's see... 12 months!"

That's really all I use the clock trick for.. skipping ahead a day so something happens.

I set the clock back if I miss a day or two. That's the only time I ever jack around with it.

By the way, Bluecube, how the hell do you use Pitfalls?! I haven't been able to figure out what the fuck they do!

You bury them. If anyone walks over the little X spot where you put it, they'll fall in. That includes you, so remember where you buried it..

If the animals don't want to walk on it, just shove them onto it.
