Spam.

When my forums were spammed this morning by one of your members, he/she claimed my forums had been spamming first. Point me to a thread dating back to before today, and I will drop all assumptions. I now post my thread regarding your pitiful attempts to spam from my forums.

This morning at approximatlely 8:30 A.M. PST, we were spammed by someone of this IP address:

The IP Address is: 68.96.61.48. The host name is: ip68-96-61-48.ph.ph.cox.net.

So we know whoever it is is far not smart enough to run a proxy, considering this is a cox (like mine) home address, and he lives in philidelphia.

Each forum was spanned with one thread containing stupid pictures and links to zels forum. We WILL take action. I must know now, has anyone EVER spammed zelarons forum EVER?

You must be honest. and if someone from zel is reading this, point me to a thread.

This is a log as well as a threat. Here at [/ec/], we support fun and trial and error, but attempts to ruin our forum have been shown. [/ec/]'s administrators as well as it's staff will strike back swiftly and appropriately.




btw, spam takes about 10 minutes to delete. Take us down and you have my kudos.

heh, even from GN, i can say there was a massive amount of spam on EC's boards today, yet i never seemed to see any on zelaron...weird?

One stupid member of yours spammed your forum in here, weeks ago.
This guy was so smart than he even posted URL for trojanned files in D2 Forum.
We never took action against your forum.
So don't come today to argue. Leave it alone as we did. We just banned that stupid idiot guy. Just do the same, and don't come to say you want to take action.... this sound so childish !

These threads are on the trashcan, and I don't think you're allowed to have a look there.

But then, what he did is worst : he gave infected-progs URL.

I think this is what upset/gave the idea (stupid, I agree) to our member to do the same at your forum.

The second you touch out fourms, we will spam your forums 10x harder, in this case, around 25x harder. Now, make sure non of your members spam again. We were at peace.

You claim someone spammed Zelaron a couple weeks ago..Why did wait so long to hit us back, also in what degree did someone spam you in our behalf..

Furthermore you claim that person left a url with a virus ....Thats not the way to spam a forum to get additional members I think someones trying to start some shit here... and I can assure you as far as I know EC staff knew nothing about the spam or the infected url..

yea, also spam does not hurt us; it only annoys us. I could write a spam blocker in php in about 5 mins to stop you guys from spamming us altogether. The point is, no one from ec is fessing up (or claiming to even know about) any thing of this matter. Someone at my forums said one of them spammed when ec first merged with titans - a titans member spamming theior new forum. For that I apologize, but threats here and there mean nothing. Do not spam again.

I 100 % agree with you. The guy who spam your forum here, while posting URL with virii is a complete retard.

First of all ill stand up and accept responsibilty for the spamming your forums. Why? because im sick of seeing people from your forums come here with advertisments. So i went and spammed you, i did NOT spam you thinking im going to cause you harm, i spammed you to Give you the message that we were spammed FIRST and we will spam back. I did not try to hack/crack or anything else im simply returning a favor. The spam from your members or whoevers doing it has been going on for a bit. It was just a simple comeback.
