Apparently in a soon upcoming patch, features similar to the Cosmos familly mods "PopBar", "SecondBar", "SideBar", and "QuestMinion" will become a standard part of the UI. Depending on the exact implementation of the additional bars, they could be a blessing or a curse; many people have gotten used to arranging things a certain way, and a change could put a cramp in their gameplay for weeks. Also a mixed blessing are the new chat bubbles, which while they would have their usefullness, I'm not particularly fond of. First of all, this isn't CoH; this isn't a world modelled after comic books with their unbelievable heros and all the conversation in the frames in speech bubbles. Second, I know from RO that if you get used to reading from the bubbles that you will miss stuff out of view but still in your chat log; this means that messages from party members behind you could go even worse unnoticed than now. Certainly, this will be a disableable feature, and I intend to excercise that capability... As for quest minion; if the built in feature crashes people's computers, I don't think I could help but laugh...
