well IMO it sucks because if you die once in like a open field with many monsters your kinda screwed. I die and I go get my body and then i'm at half health and fucking monsters come and attack me so i die again and!! and it also takes so freaking long to get to the body if you are far away

It's not as bad as I thought it would be. People were bitching about it hardcore and not that I have experienced it, it really isn't all that bad.

Twenty-eight days... six hours... forty-two minutes... twelve seconds. That, is when the world will end.

walking back is a major pain. With the insane cost of durabilty it really isn't worth it to rez at the graveyard. Better to walk across the map then do that.

There needs to be some sort of punishment for dying, I think it's fine. Besides, ghost form is pimp.

Punishment, yes. Breaking everything in your inventory, no. I was fine with the old exp loss of 5% of your level, but it sucks once it starts costing you money.

I prefer to work around the problem by knowing what the shit I'm doing and not Ramboing into a group of 5 monsters my level.
So this baby seal walks into a club.

You know what's gay? Monsters that start attacking right after they spawn...

I think the death system isnt all that bad, altough they could give you a bit of faster walking while being a ghost or maybe some sort of resurrection sickness variation where you cant attack or be attacked for 30 seconds after you resurrect.

There is a reason they did it, and it's to rebalance the economy. It'd be fine with me if they reduced the cost to about 50% for the spirit healer and 5% per regular.

Of course, there is the advantage of not having to fight monsters all the way back to where you were before, and 4 times out of 5, you'd be going back anyway. The 100% duability loss is BS, though. Basicly, you have to spend 50% of the value of your equipment whenever you rez; what this means is that warriors get shafted, while mages get off easy; I found the large exp loss fair and equitable, but this is annoying and unballanced. Of course, realisticly, if you left your body out there and rezed, you'd be short everything you were carrying/wearing, so in that respect...

They're changing the system in the next patch.

Using spirit healer will be 25% durability loss.

Maximum of 10 minutes waiting time.

Blue items will cost less to repair.
