Question Pushing a boulder off a cliff(Passabilty)

My goal is to have my guy move up stairs then push this boulder to the left off a cliff onto a spot below(down/left) I made 1 part of the boulder to test out and it(move event) won't move unless it follows the passabilty rules, which is bad because if my guy can follow the boulder the illusion of height is shattered. I tried jump but can't. The only thing I can think of is teleport but it looks horriable.

Thank you for any input you can give.

You CAN have the boulder jump (start jump-move left-move left-move down-move down-end jump), but only if the spot you're trying to jump to is passable.

Is this a problem?

Take a screenshot of the area, with the full boulder in its proper place. I want to see the setup, so I can recommend something... I'm actually not sure why jump wouldn't work in your case, or why the character would be able to follow the boulder off of the cliff.

Also, I MUST ask this, RM2k3 or RMXP?
