Round 2! Max Payne vs. Sub Zero

Arena:
The Infernal Cube - A giant block of stone, drifting endlessly throughout the void. The inside is a webwork of stone platforms, walkways, hallways, stairs and ladders, all interweaving into an impossible labyrinth. The inside of the cube knows nothing of the way our physical laws operate, and therefore, gravity is warped. One person can be standing on a platform at the bottom of the chamber, while another stands "upside down" on a staircase on the opposite side without feeling any distortions whatsoever. A combatant placed inside of the cube is a truly unfortunate individual.

In the Red Corner, armed with an impressive assortment of firearms, bullet-time capabilities and a penchant for film noire narrative! The widowed detective, the hunted hunter, from Max Payne: Max Payne!!!

And in the Blue Corner, armed with an assortment of ice-based attacks, superhuman speed and durability, and a bevy of horrifying ways to mutilate his opponent's battered corpse! The arctic ninja, the freezing avenger, from Mortal Kombat: Sub-Zero!!!

As the two enter the distorted realm, they catch one another's eye and carefully figure out their plan of action. As Max sprays an assortment of bullets towards Sub Zero, a huge ice barracade is formed between two pillars and blocks the pre-emptive attack. Again, they eye one another up, and the battle commenses...
