Post Quake III, Half-Life and all the other PC games made for PS2

The others were The Sims, Baulder's Gate, Unreal Tournament and a few others I don't know.

Discuss these games and if they pwned or blowed for the PS2.

The Baldur's Gate for tehe PS2 was nothing like the PC one. It's a diablo clone while the PC one was more D&D styled.

Quack 3 and UT had piss poor support on the PS2. The best part about both of them are user mods.

The Sims (from the bit I played, don't care too much for it) was actually a bit better on the console. Controls and graphics were improved, but you did lose the expansion pack options.

Yeah I played The Sims for ps2 and PC. The ps2 version was fun'er'er'. It was basic, but it looked much smoother and ran smoother than the PC version.

Wow...are you drunk or tired or something?

Balder's Gate was mediocore in my opinion.

UT was extremely terrible for it.

Quake III was pretty good. Nothing compared to the computer, but still very fun.

The Sims PWNED! No doubt about it.

Oh and the reason I made that comment was cause you didn't spell alot of them right.

Umm, it IS spelled Baldur's Gate and, yes, I was saying the PS2 one sucked.

I just call Q3 "Quack 3". Just a habit of mine and I still like the option of user mods. Incidentally, I prefer UT on PC than Q3 on PC.

the ps2 version of red faction was not bad at all. Deus Ex was okay too.

Sorry to Q67 but your post was completely unrelated to the post. As for ping, his spamming and flaming is enough for me to just say "he was being an idiot and knew what it meant. He was wasting everyone's time."

RS you can find your's in the Trash. Your a Sup Mod and I'm a litle intimidated...

Every PC to Console port, excluding very few exceptions, have and will continue to suck.

And how the fuck can you guys not like Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. That game owned.

No problem there man. It didn't belong here anyways

Dark Alliance wasn't a bad game, just misleading. The name Baldur's Gate made me think it was like the PC ones (which I love). Instead, it was a hack and slash (which I get bored of quickly). DA was also a bit too short.

I like hack and slash every now and then but strategy games will always be my preference.

I haven't played the Deus Ex one yet. I'll rent it sometime.

Do it. The best game I've ever played, honestly. Too bad part 2 is an X-Box console exclusive. I'll be buying it for PC.

The ps2 version blows. Take mine, and every other person thats played both versions, word for it. Buy the 20 dollar PC GOTY instead.

PC ports on consoles are always the worst way to go. No game has ever been and can ever be better on a console than on PC. There's no way to get the full potential of a game without a solid community. Console games have no mod communities.
