RM2K(3) Custom Battle System!!!

Can anyone tell me where to find an excellent custom battle system tutorial. I need one really bad for my game because it was originally an RM2K game but I got to far into it and when RM2K3 came out I transfered it to it since it allows you to do more stuff, and I can't create battle character sets for the custom character sets I had made.

I was going to try to figure one out for RM2K but I don't really have the time to do so.
