Post Question about the party

I've been looking over RPG Maker 2k and 2k3 these past few days, and I'd like to do a re-make of my favorite Genesis RPG. However, I'm not sure if one can put more than 4 people in a party. Is it possible to have 5?

And, while I'm at it, is it possible to change the battle system so that it's more like the system found in RPG Maker 2000?

1. No. Only 4 at a time.

2. Probably. I have no idea why you'd want that, however.

No way at all to have more than four party members? That's really too bad. Looks like I can't use RPG Maker for my RPG, then. And it looked so good, too...

And I wanted to change the battle system because I don't have attack sprites for my characters. Also, I don't want my RPG to look *too* much like Final Fantasy, but, rather, more like the original Genesis version of it.

So...know of any other good RPG Creating programs?
