Post A Magic: The Gathering Forum

I was wondering, since it is a pretty popular card game, if we could have a forum for it. I, for one, no much about the game, the rules of the game, the products, the current good decks in all of the different formats, and many other things, and I am always lacking a good place to talk about the game online.

The popular sites such as mtgnews.com and starcitygames.com are just riddled with morons, and I can't stand it. I think if we get a forum here we can spread this great game to many more people.

umm... If you read the rules I am pretty sure that it states that you can make suggestions for games... as in computer games.

No, fool. Penny_Bags actually read the rules and reallised that the rules state that that is the wrong forum to make this request in. Forum Requests is for requesting computer game forums (video arcade games and gaming consoles are computers, BTW). Zelaron is supposed to be a computer gaming forum, therefore more/different consideration needs to be taken before adding forums for other things.

I thought you can play Magic: The Gathering over the internet? I'm pretty sure you can, and I'd probably look into this if a Forum was started for it.

I think its a good idea.

There is an online game, but it's called Magic: The Gathering Online. Plain old Magic: The Gathering uses real tangable cards that have real value as colectables (given enough time), as opposed to virtual cards that cost just as much with no real collectable value and which no doubt someone has come up with dupes and scams, etc. I suppose you could put up a poll for MTG Online, and play with tangable cards would not be ruled off topic...

Yes, and there are also other, FREE versions of magic online, that in many ways are even better than it, aside from the play being harded to keep track of (you need a more developed knowledge of the rules). But all in all, I like it better.

But anyways... could I put up a poll for just playing magic online, not just the official MtGOnline (and as wet wired said the tangeable gaming wouldn't be off-topic)?
