I'd say it's the other way around, someone has made tutorials on how to make stuff similar to what's found on Zelaron. Secondly, I found the Starcraft font in some places on that site as well, so maybe it's someone who has come here for some SC info? I don't know. All I do know is that I haven't ripped anything for the creation of Synthesis.

How could this not be ripped??? It's exactly the same, just turned about 45 degrees. I believe Chruser, but how the hell would someone recreate a logo so damn closely??
One of the first appearances of a three-bladed shuriken was 17 years ago, when the idea for Babylon 5 was made. It makes up the logo of the evil fraction; Klingons.
To quote a very special person; "Creativity does not exist. It is merely fractions of pictures we have seen or heard, assembled in different ways."
In this particular case, it's very likely that the author of the tutorial site has just come by our site, maybe remembered the logo shape in one way or another, and then recreated it as he thinks it's cool. Other than the fact that their domain is newer than Zelaron.com, there's really no other proof. I'd still have to say that it looks more like the Klingon logo due to its rotation and uneven blade length.
