I dont know the answer to this so I was wondering if anyone could figure it out...here it goes.
There were three men that checked into a hotel. The room was 30 dollars so they each paid 10. After the men went up the manager remembers that he overcharged these people...he waso nly supposed to take 25 dollars, so he sends an employee back with 5 dollars. Once the employee gets up there he thinks to himself...well since there is no way I can split 5 dollars evenly among them I will give them one each and keep 2 for myself. So all the men got their money back and they were happy and stuff...but here is the weird part. If each man got 1 dollar back that means they paid 9 dollars each, and the employee only kept 2 dollars. That means 9*3=27 (which is what the 3 friends paid) and 27+2=29 (which is what the employee kept). where did the other dollar go?
HEHEHEHEH..my dad told me this riddle when i was like 5..there is no answer..what it is, its the way u say it..u make it seem like there is one dollar missing but there really isnt..
if u dont beleive that..think of it this way...its kinda easy..30 dollars u started with..minus the 5 they get back..so they paid 25 dollars..now the 5 extra..1 to each man..so thats 25 + 3 (1 from each man) so thats 28..then the 2 the exployee had is 30...like i said before..its just the way u explain it that makes it seem like its impossible..buts its really simple
